The Task Manager allows Noodle users to assign
themselves and other users Tasks. This can be an excellent time
and people management tool for projects or just general everyday
task assignment. The Task Manager is created in the same way as
any other Noodle application.
Creating a Task List
The first step in creating tasks is to create a Task List. This
allows users to organize tasks around projects or other company
requirements. To add a Task List, click the Add a List link and
select a name in the textbox. Click Add when satisfied:

Adding a Task to a Task List
Once a Task List has been created, we can now begin adding tasks.
To add a Task, click the Add a Task link inside the desired Task
List. Enter the task details in the textbox provided. Use the
drop-down menu to select the user to which this task is to be
assigned. Click Add to save this task. You may now press Done
to finalize, or, continue the same process to add more tasks:

Hover the mouse over a task to see details of who assigned the
task and to whom, along with links to each user's profile.
Viewing a Task Report
Each Task Manager allows the user to view a Task Report. A Task
Report is designed to present a list of tasks based on restrictions
specified by the user. Task Reports are created using the drop-down
menus at the top of the Task Manager view.
The first drop-down menu allows the user to specify the Task
List used for this report. The second drop-down menu selects the
user who assigned the task, the third drop-down menu specifies
the the assignee:

Marking a Task as Complete
Once a task has been completed, it may be marked as such. When
a task is marked as complete, it will still show in the list of
tasks, however the description will be greyed and the checkbox
next to it's name will be ticked. Noodle will also display how
long ago the task was completed and by whom. To revive a task
that has been deleted and make it active again, simply uncheck
the box next to it's name:

Deleting a Task List
Deleting a Task List is a very simple, one-click procedure. Hover
your mouse over the Task List name and click the trash icon as
shown:
