Sections are containers that
allow Noodle to be structured easily and purposefully, providing
modules for Groups and roots for controlling permissions. This page
explains how Sections are created and how to add modules to a section.
Creating a Section
To create a Section, a user must have Administrative Access
to the root Section, by default called the Company Headlines Section.
Click on the Add link as shown:

Choose Section in the new menu, give your new Section a name and click Create as shown:

A new container will now be added to the navigation to hold modules:

Adding Modules to a Section
Once a section has been created, modules can now be added. Adding
a Module can be started in 2 ways. Either by clicking the Add
link next to the section title in the Navigation, as shown above,
or by clicking on the 'Create Application' button
in Content View:

Either method will display the Create menu to allow a module to be selected. A full list of Modules can be viewed here. Once a module has been selected, give it a name and click create to add it to the Section:

Once complete, the chosen module will be added to the Section:

Customizing Section Headlines
Sections can be customized to display a list of the modules it
contains, an HTML Page or a Portlet View connected to modules.
