How to install intraNET ActiveX Components
intraNET AcrtiveX Components include:
• Component Downlaoad Manager 2.0 - manages the downloading of the other components
• Intra.Editor – HTML featured editor.
• Import/Export Utility for Calendar and Contact Manager
• User Import Utility
• Transfer Multiple Files Utility – Drag&Drop
• Edit files within intraNET (with or without versioning)
By default all the ActiveX Components are downloaded automaticaly with first access of intraNET application. For ActiveX Components installation,
administrative rights are required on client PC.
An warning message will be displayed at all times until ActiveX Components are installed or User's settings are changed to use "Plain Text Editor".
1. Click on the yellow bar that pops-up at the top of your browser: “This site might require the following ActiveX Control: ‘Intra.Net’Component
Manager’ from ‘Vialect.Inc.’. Click here tu install...”
2. Select “Install ActiveX Control”.
3. Another message will ask if you want to install the software.
4. Click “Install” to install the ActiveX Component.
5. Go to a Document Manager application to activate the Drag&Drop feature.
NOTE: There are some cases when a firewall/proxy connection is used, or administrative rights are resticted. In this case you need to have an
Administrator install the ActiveX Components on each client PC that requires them.
