The Address Book provides Noodle users with
a great way to manage important numbers and addresses from within
the Noodle environment. If a User is created to have their own page
included, they will automatically gain access to their own applications,
including an Address Book.
Creating a Contact
To create a Contact, begin by selecting the
Address Book in which you would like the entry to be stored. You
will see some buttons at the top of the screen - select 'Create
New Contact' to add a new contact. Then form use to create
new users will be below displayed on the screen below any users
that already exist in the Address Book.
Enter the details for the new contact in the text boxes provided.
Not all of the red asterisk (*)
fields are required, but AT LEAST ONE must hold
information in order for the contact to be successfully saved:

Press 'Save' to confirm the entry. You will now
see your new contact in your Address book!
Importing and Exporting
To save time and typing fingers, Noodle allows it's users to
import and export contacts from a file, Outlook or a Palm Pilot,
into or out of your Noodle Address Book.
To Import/Export items from your Address Book
simply click the button marked 'Import/Export'
and follow the wizard.
Other Functions
As with other Applications, Noodle has some basic functions to
allow for easier reusability and migration. From the main Address
Book view you may delete entries or cut, copy and paste contacts
between Address Books. Simply select the entry or entries that
you would like to modify by checking the checkbox adjacent to
it and using the buttons located above the list.
Access Rights Explanations
Below is an explanation of how Access Rights affect what the User
is able to do:
- Read - Read access allows the user to view the list of entries. Clicking
on an entry will also allow the user to view details of that particular
entry.
- Post - Post allows the User to view the entry list, entry details and also to create entries.
- Modify - Modify allows the user to view the entry list, entry details and also to create and edit entries.
- Admin - Admin allows the user to access the Administrative section for the current instance of the Address book.
- Route - Routing is not relevant to this module.
